What Buckham Fair Brings to the Community

Buckham Fair is renowned and celebrated for its wonderful atmosphere with fantastic activities for all ages, varied & interesting shopping experiences, a delicious array of food opportunities, and a fairground to be enjoyed by all the family.

A Local Tradition with a Big Impact

Buckham Fair began in 2008, and over 10 years, we have been proud to have raised a massive £600,000 for local charities.

In 2019, we decided to take a break, but this year we are back, bigger and better than ever! Our criteria have always been to keep the Fair local and community-based whilst entertaining visitors from all over the country and as far afield as the USA and Australia.

The original committee are also back, excited and working hard to bring you all our favourite attractions whilst adding new and exciting displays and exhibits.

We feel very lucky to live in such a beautiful area, and it is fantastic to be able to share it with our community once again.

Our 2026 committee consists of:

  • Martin Clunes
  • Philippa Clunes
  • Vanessa Voegele-Downing
  • Bhavani Hogarty
  • Rosemary Young
  • Caroline Godwin
  • Dr Evelyne O’Hare

Supporting Dorset County Hospital in 2026
