Dogs Took Centre Stage At Buckham Fair

Sunday 2 August 2026

All Dog Show Entries Were Taken On The Day

The Dog Show has always been one of Buckham Fair’s most popular events, and in 2026 it returned bigger than before.

Pedigrees, crossbreeds and much-loved scruffies were all welcome, giving dogs and their people a full day of activities.

  • Visitors chose from have-a-go agility, Hoopers, Rally, the fastest Scurry and the Best Rescue class.
  • Friends cheered from the side of Temptation Alley to see whether the dogs or the distractions would win.
  • Sniff-A-Long put every dog’s nose to the test.

The Pedigree Ring returned alongside the new “Special Classes” ring for crossbreeds, child and junior handlers, and veteran dogs.

Celebrity Judges, Experts and Dog Village

Martin Clunes and Neil Morrissey judged the novelty classes, including “the dog most like Neil Morrissey” and “best trick”.

Professionals in each discipline ran the rings and helped visitors enjoy the day with their dogs.

The Dog Village brought together special breeds, training experts and some of the fair’s dog acts.

Thank you to everyone who joined us with their dogs.

The complete 2026 schedule remains available above.
